Managing Users for Autodesk For Government
Admin responsibilities
As an administrator, you can assign users to products and services under User Management in an Autodesk for Government Account. A team can have one Primary admin, unlimited Secondary admins, and Users.
Primary Admin
- Manages users and their access to products.
- Assigns secondary admins and can reassign another secondary admin to a primary admin.
- Serves as the main point of contact to Autodesk.
Secondary Admin
Manages users and their access to products.
Assigns additional secondary admins and can reassign the primary admin.
Access Autodesk For Government Account
Accessing Autodesk For Government (AFG) Account requires admin permissions and is accessed via the following sign-in URL.
https://manage.afg.us.autodesk.com
Admins can manage product assignments for their users in AFG. Through User management, admins can manage product access by product, by user, or by group.
Note: Administrators from https://manage.autodesk.com cannot access an AFG Account unless they are added as admins in https://manage.afg.us.autodesk.com/. Users who are not admins do not have any available capabilities in AFG.
