Supported Files
You can upload and store many different file types in the Plans and Project Files folders in Autodesk Docs for Government. However, some of these supported file types can't be opened and viewed (for example, ZIP files). See the Viewable Files list below for those supported files which can also be viewed in Document Management.

* .iam and .ipt files can be uploaded in Document Management as linked files to the Project Files folder if the .iam file is specified as the parent file. For this upload method, only one level of children nodes is supported.
Note:
- Plans folder: The Plans folder only supports .dwf, .dwfx, .dwg, .ifc, .pdf, and .rvt (current and previous 4 versions) files.
- Linked files: .rvt files can only be linked to other .rvt, .dwg, or .dwf(x) files, or as a nested link. .ecw and .iam files are viewable when uploaded as linked files.
Unsupported File Types
The following file types are not supported for upload to Document Management. All other file types can be uploaded to the Project Files folder, though not all may be viewable in Document Management.
