Project to UCS displays a curve's 'shadow' in a different coordinate system. Projecting to UCS creates a new curve in the selected UCS, but does not affect the original.
This method assumes that you are projecting a curve from one UCS to the one you are currently in.
- Select Construct tab > Curves panel > From Curves > Project to UCS to display the Project to UCS dialog.
- Optionally enter a curve name in the Name field, or leave the default name.
- Select the curve you want to use from the
Curve menu, or click the
Pick Curve
button and select it in the graphics window.
- Select the UCS from the list.
- Select the plane you want to project the curve to from YZ Plane, XZ Plane, or XY Plane.
- Click OK.
