Get Started: Manage Asset Capacity

Asset balance is the total number of assets your team is allowed to manage within Info360 Asset under your current subscription.

What Counts as an Asset

An asset in Info360 Asset is any component imported into the Info360 Asset. It represents a physical element of the water infrastructure.

Examples of assets

  • Pipes
  • Valves
  • Pumps
  • Tanks
  • Wells
  • Hydrants
  • Fittings
  • Meters
  • Boilers
  • Clarifiers

Other similar water network or plant components also count as assets.

Note: Elements imported only as background map layers or contextual images don't count as assets.

Understand Your Capacity

Your capacity in Info360 Asset is the total number of assets your team can manage under your current subscription. Capacity applies at the team level. It means the limit is shared across all projects. For example, if your subscription allows 20,000 assets, the total is available for your entire team—not per project.

As standard, you can import up to 20,000 assets into Info360 Asset. You can purchase add-ons at any time to increase this limit.

Check Your Capacity

Admins can view current capacity usage, meaning the number of assets used in the current project and the number used in total across all of your team’s projects in two ways:

What Happens When You Reach Your Capacity?

All existing functionalities remains accessible and usable but you will not be able to add new assets or channels until you increase your capacity.

How to Increase Capacity

You can:

  • Delete unused assets or channels to free up space. For more details, see: Delete Assets in Bulk
  • Purchase additional capacity by contacting your Autodesk Sales representative.
