Oct 23 | You can now create analytics for calculations that don't use sensor data.
For example, you may want to configure a process calculation (e.g., theoretical alkalinity consumption per mg/L of aluminum) and use the result as a benchmark or static value to compare sensor data against.
To configure the theoretical calculation, you can turn a Constant Value input node (e.g., theoretical aluminum dose) into a time series data stream and use this in your output expression.

The calculated results will show time series data for both the constant value and the output node. The interval used for both is the one set in the output node.

The output node is also saved as a virtual sensor and so can be used in other analytics, charts, etc.
You can also turn these analytics into templates.
