Rotate a table
- Select the table and right-click.
- Select Rotate from the menu, and then select the direction of the rotation from the submenu (clockwise or counter-clockwise).
Merge Cells
- Select the desired cells, right-click and select Merge Cells.
Current limitations when merging cells:
- General tables, which are driven by an external file, display cell merges from the source file. However, they do not allow modifications to existing merges or the creation of new ones.
- When the table contains merged cells, certain table tools such as Column Chooser, Insert Row, Remove Row, Sort, and Row Visibility are disabled.
- You can't undo merging cells in the Table dialog. Not to apply changes, just click Cancel to close the dialog.
- The value within a cell cannot be aligned.
- Selecting a merged cell does not result in the selection of the entire merged region.
- In order to begin editing a merged region, the top left cell must be selected.
