Radiate Runoff Surface Reference

Creates a runoff surface automatically.

Access:
 On the Core/Cavity tab, click Radiate Runoff Surface.
Note: Extrude Runoff Surface, Bounded Runoff Surface and Radiate Runoff Surface are grouped. Click the down arrow to show all the options.
 

Edge

Specifies an edge on which to create a runoff surface. To reverse the selection, hold down CTRL as you click the edge in the graphics window.

Start

The start point of the selected edge.

End

The end point of the selected edge.

Click to add

Used to add additional points to the selected edge.

Sets the runoff surface in the X-direction in the Mold Design Coordinate System.

Sets the runoff surface in the Y-direction in the Mold Design Coordinate System.

Flip Direction

Reverses the direction of the surface.

Angle Value

Sets the direction of the runoff surface according to a user-defined angle.

Select Linear or Planar Entity

Specifies the direction of the runoff surface according to a specific surface edge, face edge, planar face, work axis, or work plane.
