- Access
- On the Mold Layout tab, or Core/Cavity tab, click Adjust Orientation
. Note: If Adjust Orientation is not visible in the Mold Layout tab, click the arrow under Adjust Position, and then click Adjust Orientation
Change the direction of a plastic part in the mold.

In the graphics window, select a part.

Rotate around Axis - Rotates the plastic part through the specified angle about the X, Y, or Z axis.

Align with Axis - Aligns a selected edge, or the normal of a selected surface, with the specified axis.

- Uses the X axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference.

- Uses the Y axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference.

- Uses the Z axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference.
- Rotation Angle
- Enter the angle of rotation for the plastic part.

- Applies the rotation to the plastic part without closing the dialog box.

- Align

- Uses the X axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference.

- Uses the Y axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference.

- Uses the Z axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference.
- Select edge or surface
- Select an edge or planar surface on the plastic part in the graphics window.

Flip moldable part - Reverses the direction of the plastic part.
