Export Harness Data

Saves a cable and harness assembly to a file with a specified name and the XML file type.

Save in	Shows path of the active directory and specifies destination of the saved file.
Locations	Shows file locations defined in the active project file. A tooltip shows the path. Click a location to change to the folder. The folder tree and files are listed in the main window of the dialog box.
File name	Specifies the name of the file to save. If the file was previously saved, the file name is shown.
File of type	Filters file list to include only .xml files. The extension is added to the file name.
Save	Saves harness data in the file (with file name and type specified by one of the methods explained previously).
Cancel	Cancels the file save operation and closes the dialog box.

Note:

Options is not applicable for XML export.
Ribbon cables are not supported for XML import or export.
