Corner Seam Edit Dialog Reference

Defines edits to corners in flange and contour flange features.

Access

In the graphics window, over the corner you want to modify, click Corner Seam Edit .

Overlap

Controls the overlap type and gap size for the selected corner seam.

Type

• No Overlap/Symmetric Gap/45 Degree
• Overlap
• Reverse Overlap
• No Seam

Gap Size

• GapSize Can include as an equation variable. Values other than GapSize are accepted.
• Measure Measures an object, and inserts the measured value for the gap size.
• Show Dimensions Shows dimensions associated with a features to insert for the gap size.
• List Parameters Shows sheet metal parameter names to insert for the gap size.
• Feature Value Inserts the “d” variable value for the gap size.

Percentage Overlap

Specifies a value from 0 to 1 indicating a percentage of overlap. Valid for only Overlap or Reverse Overlap gap types.

• Measure Inserts a measured value for the percentage overlap.
• Show Dimensions Shows dimensions associated with a features to insert for the percent overlap.
• List Parameters Shows sheet metal parameter names to insert for the percent overlap.

Relief

Controls the relief type and size for the selected corner seam.

Type

Specifies corner relief type:

Round

Applies the Round relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Round (Tangent)

Applies a Round Tangent relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Round (Vertex)

Applies a Round Vertex relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Square

Applies the Square relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Square (Vertex)

Applies the Square Vertex relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Tear

Applies the Tear relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Trim to Bend

Applies the Trim to Bend relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Linear Weld

Applies the Linear Weld relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Arc Weld

Applies the Arc Weld relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Laser Weld

Applies the Laser Weld relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Intersection

Applies the Intersection relief type to the selected 3-bend corner

No Replacement

Applies the No Replacement relief type to the selected 3-bend corner.

Full Round

Applies the Full Round relief type to the selected 3-bend corner.

Jacobi Radius Size

Reapplies the default Jacobi radius size relief to the selected 3-bend corner.

Relief Size

Specifies the size of a corner relief when you select 2-bend or 3-bend corners.

• CornerReliefSize Unmodified corners defaults to the value of this named parameter.
• Measure Measures an object, and inserts the measured value for the relief.
• Show Dimensions Shows dimensions associated with a features to insert for the relief.
• List Parameters Shows sheet metal parameter names to insert for the relief.
• Feature Value Returns the corner relief size to a value specified for the feature. Available only during edits.
