Create Heel Reference

Creates one or more heels on an insert.

Access:
	On the Core/Cavity tab, click Create Heel.

Design using Template method

Profile	Shape Specifies a shape from the drop-down list. Insert Specifies an insert on which to create a heel.
Placement - Linear	Places the profile of the heel on a plane and sets its position relative to two perpendicular straight edges. Face Specifies a plane on the selected insert in the graphics window. Reference 1 Specifies a first edge as a locating reference. Reference 2 Specifies a second edge, perpendicular to the first edge, as a locating reference. Direction Reverses the direction of the reference.
Placement - Concentric	Places the profile of the heel on a plane and sets its position according to a circular edge, arc edge, or cylindrical face. Face Specifies a plane on the selected insert in the graphics window. Concentric Ref Specifies a circular edge, arc edge, or cylindrical face to define the center of the template.
Placement - UV Values	Face Specifies a plane on the selected insert in the graphics window. UV Values Defines UV coordinate values.
Extension	Distance Defines the distance by which the heel is extended. Offset Defines an offset value by which the heel is offset. Positive Direction Extrudes the heel in the positive direction of its profile. Negative Direction Extrudes the heel in the negative direction of its profile. Both Directions Extrudes the heel in the positive and negative directions of its profile.
Rotation	Angle Defines an angle to rotate the heel.
	Clearance Enables the Clearance tab and defines clearance parameters.

Design using Thicken method

Profile	Insert Specifies an insert on which you want to create a heel. Face Specifies a planar face on the selected insert. The profile sketch of the heel is drawn on the coplanar plane of this face.
Thickening	Thickness Defines a value for the thickness of the heel.
Extension	Distance Defines the distance by which the heel is extended. Offset defines an offset value by which the heel is offset. Positive Direction Extrudes the heel in the positive direction of its profile. Negative Direction Extrudes the heel in the negative direction of its profile. Both Directions Extrudes the heel in the positive and negative directions of its profile.
	Clearance Enables the Clearance tab and defines clearance parameters.
