Release Notes in Version 2026.2

This topic lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2026.1 and 2026.2 of InfoWorks ICM.

See Known Limitation and Issues for a list of limitations and any issues that we are aware of.

The fixes listed below are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

Remote meshing

A regression introduced in release 2026.0 meant that meshes generated remotely could no longer be loaded into a network. This has been corrected.

Importing rain gauge boundaries from shapefiles

It is now possible to import rain gauge boundaries from a .shp file where the profile ID is a large integer.

Japanese localisation

A glitch in our localisation process meant that the Japanese version of the software suffered from a poor re-translation in 2026.1. The translations from 2026.0 have been reinstated.

Continuous curb openings

The calculation of total interception length for continuous curb openings that have depressions has been corrected. In previous versions, it was assumed assumed that the equivalent cross slope (Se) was always the same as the actual cross slope (Sx). This is not the case if there is a depression.

XPSWMM import of rain gages

Rain gage IDs imported from XPSWMM are now correct when there is a space in the ID.

Cloud databases with many commits

An "Unable to duplicate file handle" error when trying to open a network with more than 8186 commits in a cloud databa se has been fixed.

Conversion of SWMM ponded area to InfoWorks floodable area

Ponded areas in SWMM networks in square feet are now converted to the correct units when importing into InfoWorks networks as floodable area.

Conversion to InfoWorks networks of SWMM nodes with a surcharge depth

When importing from SWMM into an InfoWorks network, nodes with a positive surcharge depth are now converted to flood type "Stored" and assigned a flood depth.

SWMM import of external time series files

Some issues with the import of external time series files from SWMM have been fixed.

Import of SWMM outfalls with tide gates

SWMM outfalls with tide gates are now imported to the correct geographical location in InfoWorks networks.

SWMM time patterns

The first item in a SWMM time pattern can now be selected.

Import of SWMM network into InfoWorks network

A further fix has been made to the creation of duplicate runoff surfaces when importing from SWMM to InfoWorks.

Converting sideflow weirs from SWMM to InfoWorks

The Weir Crest height is now converted correctlyfrom SWMM network to InfoWorks network for 'SIDEFLOW' type.

Pre-processing of water quality simulations

A bug causing pre-processing to fail when having potency factors are defined but no non-attached pollutants present has been fixed.

HEC-RAS import

A bug in the import of section data from HEC-RAS has been fixed.

XPSMM import

Performance of the XPSWMM importer has been improved when there is a large amount of data that cannot be handled by InfoWorks.

HYDX import

A crash in the HYDX importer when a link is missing its upstream node has been replaced with an error message.

Area take-off

A regression meant that polygon categories could no longer be selected for area take-off. This has been corrected.

ICMExchange

A crash when using the select_changes method in ICMExchange has been rectified.

DWG import

When importing duplicate objects from a dwg file and selecting theOverwrite option, the objects in the network are now overwritten.

Simulations without rainfall results

A crash when viewing results that have rainfall results excluded no longer occurs.

2D simulation results in SWMM networks

2D simulation results are now shown in the coordinates panel when the option to do so is selected.

Crash when open a network in a cloud database

A crash when multiple users are working with the same object in a scenario and the base in a cloud database has been fixed.

Error accessing a new network or branch copied from a commit

When trying to access a network or branch copied from a commit, in rare circumstances an error was triggered "Error downloading commit blob: URL rejected: No host part in the URL." This has been fixed.

Vulnerabilities

The following security vulnerabilities have been addressed:

CVE-2025-3277

See the Autodesk Trust Center for details about vulnerabilities in InfoWorks software.
