The Headline Validation window displays warning messages that occur for enabled baselines. The window is displayed at the bottom of the Headlines Page beneath the Map view.
By default the window is not displayed if there are no warnings present. To display the window, select Headline Validation from the Window menu in the Administrator mode.
Right-click in the window to display a context menu allowing the following operations to be carried out:
- Print - print out validation messages
- Copy to clipboard - copy messages to clipboard for pasting in another application
For each error or warning, the validation window displays the following information:

| Priority | Priority level (always set to 1) |
| Object Type | The type of object (always Baseline) |
| Object | The name of the Baseline object |
| Field | The field where the value is invalid, missing or outside recommended ranges. |
| Message | A description of the problem. |
- the message is a warning message. This message is for information.
