This topic lists the additions and improvements incorporated in InfoWorks® WS Pro Version 2025.4 which were not available in previous versions.
Please note that this new version also includes various bug fixes that are described in detail in the Release Notes.
See Known Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.
Autodesk WS Pro Viewer
The Autodesk version of WS Pro now has a Viewer option. This requires an Autodesk identity (sign-in) but it does not require a license. The Autodesk WS Pro Viewer will not allow you to re-run simulations and it will not allow you to modify networks or other data. You can create items such as Themes or Selection lists. The Autodesk WS pro Viewer allows you to access Cloud databases.
Cloud multi-run performance
Cloud multi-runs such as CLA and GMR have had improvements in performance. Cloud multi-runs are substantially faster. Post processing and presentation of results is also improved.
Migrate all settings from Options dialog
When you update WS Pro you are asked: do you wish to migrate settings? Settings of the options dialog are now part of this migration such as "Prompt for confirmation before exiting" or "Display warning when layers are missing".
Maintain SQL Grids when saving
A grid displayed from SQL now persists after the SQL dialog is saved or the network is changed.
Export to EPANET, time profiles
You can now specify a time range when exporting to EPANET, and this improved the production of profiles.
Surge symbol is part of the default theme
The surge symbol () can now be displayed on objects where "Enable Surge" is checked.
WS Pro Exchange, Tracing
WS Pro Exchange Tracing functions now include more control options (isolation_trace and isolation_trace_ex).
WS Pro - Safe mode
WS Pro can be started with the option /SAFE. This starts WS Pro without a GeoPlan or a Workspace. This is an alternative to using <SHIFT> when starting WS Pro.
