What's new in version 2025.3

This topic lists the additions and improvements incorporated in InfoWorks® WS Pro Version 2025.3 which were not available in previous versions.

Please note that this new version also includes various bug fixes that are described in detail in the Release Notes.

See Known Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.

New water quality solver option improves speed and accuracy

Topological Node Ordering is a new default simulation option for the Lagrangian solver that improves simulations by computing the transfer of solutes sequentially with the direction of flow through the network. Furthermore, this approach considers solutes moving through multiple links per timestep, enabling accurate calculations with extended WQ timesteps and leading to quicker simulations.

Baseline object now supports merge version control

Baseline objects will use the commit approach with version control when using the database setting to use merge version control. This simplifies workflows by reducing the need to check in and check out.

Update multiple objects per Asset ID

When updating the model through the Open Data Import Centre based on Asset ID, WS Pro now supports updating of multiple objects per Asset ID. This is helpful when a GIS pipe has been split in the model, but data transfer is still desired with the model pipe segments.
