Gridding results for a single network object

Griding results for a single network object

To display a grid showing time varying data for a single network object:

  1. Make sure the simulation is open, and the GeoPlan window is the current active window.
  2. Click the (Grid) tool on the Tools toolbar.

The mouse pointer will change to the grid tool pointer.

  3. Click a network object on the GeoPlan.

If more than one network object is under the cursor, a dialog will be displayed allowing you to choose the required network object.

  4. To display the Time Varying Results grid, click OK.

Notes:

  • Grid results can be displayed for a selected time period by adjusting replay start and finish times on the Replay Options dialog and checking the Apply to Grid and Graph Tools option.
  • A graph of time varying data can be displayed by carrying out the same procedure, but holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the network object. Alternatively, use the (Graph) tool. See Graphing data for a network object.
  • If the current simulation has associated live data and the network object for which you are creating a results grid has live data linked with it, you will be asked if you want to add the live data values to the grid. If you choose to do so, two extra columns are added, showing the live data values and the difference between the live data and model values.
