Using Live, you can easily create a presentation others can view using their own device/computer.
Publishing a presentation gives you a .exe file you can share with others, allowing them to:
- Walk through the presentation
- Experience the design in virtual reality
- Explore the model's interior and exterior
- Change the sun's position
- Query objects to see their BIM information
- Easily move between points of view.
Publishing presentations
Presentations can only be published for use on Windows platforms.
To publish a presentation for Windows:
- In the Main menu, select Publish.
The Publish to Folder dialog appears.
- Navigate to the folder where you want to publish the presentation, and then click Select Folder.
A .zip file is published to the selected folder and Windows Explorer opens.
You can now share your published presentation (.zip file) with others.
Opening a presentation
To open and view a presentation, you must have specific versions of libraries installed on your device/computer. These libraries are:

- The Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from Microsoft, available at https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=48145.
Recent systems are likely to have these runtime requirements installed already.
To open a published presentation:
