To Start the Survey Module

To start Survey, you must have a project with access to an industry model containing the Survey database. Also, make sure that the industry models that contain the connecting points, and the target industry models for the new points are included in the project.

1. In the AutoCAD Map 3D toolset Maintenance workspace, do one of the following:
   • Connect to an enterprise industry model project that contains the Survey model.
   • Open an industry model drawing that contains the Survey module.

   Your System Administrator adds the Survey module to a project or industry model drawing in Infrastructure Administrator .

   Click Insert tab > Survey panel > Survey.

2. Click Project Manage.
3. In the Manage Projects dialog box, select the calculation project.
4. In the Maintenance workspace, click Home tab Display panel Open Display Model.
5. Select a Survey display model. Click Generate Graphic.

Alternatively, start Survey from the command line in AutoCAD Map 3D toolset. Command entry: TBSURVEY.

To start the standalone version of Survey

1. Start the Autodesk Industry Model Data Editor .
2. In the Login dialog box, enter a user name and password.
3. Open the project.
4. On the industry model main toolbar, click Survey .
