Set the audio playback settings

To change the playback range to the duration of the current sound file

    Right-click the Time Slider and select Set Range To > Sound Length in the pop-up menu that appears.

To set the audio playback speed

  1. Click the Animation Preferences button .
  2. In the Preferences window, set the Playback Speed option.

    Sound will play back as long as the speed setting is not set to Play every frame.

To disable sound during playback

  • Double-click the Volume icon in the Playback Options to mute the sound, or right-click the Volume icon and select Mute. When the sound is muted, the Volume icon shows an "X" : . Muting the volume is the same as setting the audio volume to 0. Double-click the Volume icon to reactivate the sound settings.

  • Select Audio > (Sounds) Off from the Animation menu set (F4).
  • Right-click the Time Slider and select Audio > Off.

To access the sound options for audio nodes

  • Select the sound file from the Audio menu in the Animation menu set (F4).
  • Right-click the Time Slider and select Audio > <filename> > .

    The audio node settings display in the Attribute Editor.
