An audio waveform automatically displays in the Time Slider when you import an audio file.

To change the default color of the waveform by changing the Sound color swatch in the Color Settings (in the Animation section).
If you import more than one audio file, the Time Slider automatically switches to Use Trax Sounds mode, representing each sound file as a solid line instead of a waveform.
There are three ways you can specify which audio file displays in the Time Slider
- Select your audio file from the Sounds section of the Audio menu in the Animation menu set (F4).
- Right-click the Volume icon
in the Playback Options and choose from the list of audio files loaded in the scene.
- Right-click the
Time Slider, then select
Audio >
audio file from the pop-up menu that appears. (Where
audio file is the name of the audio file you want to display.)
The audio file waveform for the sound you select displays in the Time Slider and plays during playback.
To display multiple audio files on the Time Slider
- Right-click the
Time Slider and select
.
The waveform disappears and a line representing the sound file you have imported displays.
Delete Audio files
You can disable the audio file from the scene or you can remove an audio file completely:

- Select
- Right-click the Volume icon
in the Playback Options and expand the Delete Sounds rollout, where a list of all the audio files associated with the scene displays. Choose the file you want to delete.
- Right-click the Time Slider and select and expand the Delete Sounds rollout, where a list of all the audio files associated with the scene displays. Choose the file you want to delete.
There are two ways to clear audio files from the Time Slider
- Right-click the Volume icon
in the Playback Options and select Off.
- Right-click the Time Slider and select Sound > Off. This disables the audio.
