Each year we send out surveys, release beta builds and encourage you to tell us about your experience so we can make it more enjoyable. We encourage you to let us know, via social media, product forums, surveys, or support, how we can help make your experience even better.

Displaying deflection in the part surface normal direction

We have added a new feature that allows you to view warpage deflection in the surface normal direction, making it easier to compare Moldflow warpage results with laser-scanned deflection data. This new Deflection, all effects:Normal Component plot displays the part deflection in the direction of the local surface normal. Other normal component plots include: Deflection, differential cooling:Normal Component, Deflection, differential shrinkage:Normal Component and Deflection, orientation effects:Normal Component.

Migration to PowerShell Environment

To align with modern IT practices and Microsoft's strategic direction, the command shell provided with "Autodesk Moldflow Adviser 2026 Command Shell" has transitioned from Command Shell to PowerShell. This upgrade offers enhanced scripting capabilities, object-oriented operations, powerful cmdlets, robust pipeline support, and improved remote management. Users will benefit from a more flexible, efficient, and effective command-line experience. You can learn about the Powershell command syntax from the Powershell documentation site
