To run an auto-mesh analysis

Import and analyze a model without the separate step of having to mesh the part.

1. Open your project.

2. Import your model.

   Note: The default mesh type is Solid 3D, alter the mesh type if required.

3. Ensure all CAD bodies, such as feed, cooling system and mold details are on separate layers. Only the layers to be meshed should be visible.

4. Select the analysis sequence.

   Note: Not all analysis sequences can be automated.

5. Select the required material. Correct material data improves the quality of the result.

6. Set at least one injection location. For assistance with selecting the best injection location, check Fill Preview in the Study Task Pane.

7. Specify the required process settings. This enables the simulation to reflect the real-life molding conditions.

8. Define optimization parameters if required.

9. Click Analyze

Two jobs are launched, one to mesh the part, and the second to run the analysis. If you are solving in the cloud, you must have enough Cloud credit tokens for at least two jobs.
