Select by Layers dialog

This dialog is used to:

according to the layer that they have been assigned to.

To access this dialog, click layers (Geometry tab > Selection panel > Layers or Mesh tab > Selection panel > Layers).

Dialog element	Function
Layers tree	Displays the same tree structure of layers as in the Layers pane. To select all entities assigned to a particular layer, select the check box next to the layer and click the layer name. To hide the entities, deselect the check box next to a layer. To select multiple layers or folders, press Ctrl or Shift and click the names of layers or folders.
Add to current selection	Specifies whether you want the entities you have specified on this dialog to be added to the current selection, or to replace the current selection.
