Displaying user-specified orthotropic part insert properties

The orientation of the principal axes of each orthotropic part insert element can be displayed, graphically, by running a vbs script.

You must have modeled a part with a Part Insert (3D), entered your own orthotropic material data and run the analysis.

1. Click (Tools tab > Assigned Macros panel > Assign Macro) to open the Assign Macro/Command Button dialog.
2. Select the Macro number to which you would like this script assigned.
3. Select the Macro radio button and click Browse.
4. Navigate to your installation folder, typically C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Synergy 20XX, then open data\commands.
5. Select displayorthotropicproperties.vbs from the list, then click Open.
6. Confirm the filepath, then click Save and Close.
7. Click on Assigned Macro 1 (or whichever macro you assigned the script to), and the results will be downloaded.
8. Click OK and view the results in the User-Defined plots folder under Results in the Study Tasks pane.
