Work with Clashes
Rename a Clash
- On the Results tab, right-click the clash in the Results tab, and click Rename.
- Type the new name, and press Enter.

Group Clashes
There are two methods for grouping clashes, a manual method, and a method that creates groups based on selected clash properties.

Change Status or Priority of Clashes
- On the Results tab, select the clashes or clash groups requiring the change.
- Click the drop-down button in the Status or Priority column, and select the appropriate status.
Note: Multiple clashes can be changed by either holding down the CTRL key whilst selecting individual clashes (the last selected being shown in the Scene View), or by holding down the SHIFT key and selecting another clash, thereby selecting all clashes between the two including the first and last (again, the last selected being shown in the Scene View).
Assign a Clash
On the Results tab, select a clash, clash group or multiple clashes and click Assign
.
Type in the name of the person/trade the selection is to be assigned to.
Note: If the clash has already been assigned, or if a default assignee has been specified on the Home tab > Tools panel > Clash Detective > Tests panel, then that assignee will be displayed when the dialog box is opened.Tip: If you have the Navisworks Coordination Issues Add-in installed, you can assign clashes to Model Coordination project members.Type any notes if required.
Click OK.
Unassign a Clash
- On the Results tab, select a clash, clash group or multiple clashes.
- Click Unassign
.
Note: A comment is automatically written against a clash or clash group when it is unassigned.
