This is a selection of issues fixed with the 2025.0 release.

NC-15595 |
Using Lua, attempting to load a CSV file that doesn't exist is now handled with a more graceful message than a nondescript "Assertion failed" error. |
NC-15912 |
Fixed the Lua method slice:createstripefilling() to no longer ignore the parameter for the rotation bracket offset |

Machine workspaces

Note |
NC-15634 |
Any support meshes in the 3MF export from a Stratasys Origin machine workspace are no longer written with their UUID for their mesh name rather than a more user-friendly one. |
NC-15644 |
Fixed an issue in Prodways Promaker P1000 machine support where loading a 3MF into the workspace while a part is already present would cause a "Lua runtime error" |
NC-15658 |
Dragging parts into a Desktop Metal machine from a different platform no longer places them at the platform's origin instead of observing the original position. |
NC-15826 |
Fixed an issue that caused Formlabs Fuse buildrooms to be rotated 90° around Z axis |
NC-15831 |
During editing a build strategy for an EOSPrint configuration, the parameter dropdowns no longer list the name of the active parameter set twice. |
NC-15879 |
Fixed an issue that prevented, or seemingly prevented, hiding the no-build zones in a Formlabs Fuse 1 machine workspace |
NC-15888 |
Fixed an issue in several machine workspaces that caused parts outside the buildroom to count against the filling degree values |
NC-15897 |
Fixed packed height not being calculated in HP workspaces without connection to printer |
NC-15926 |
Slice analysis in HP machine workspace no longer includes parts outside the buildroom volume |
NC-15947 |
Fixed a Lua runtime error appearing during export from an EOS P machine with switched-off Automatic part-snapping into the platform |

Slicing

Note |
NC-15964 |
Fixed a constellation of parameter values for radial hatching and slice geometry where the minimum radius would not be observed |

Note |
NC-15613 |
Fixed an issue that caused a polyline wall's gussets to generate on platform even when the polyline wall itself terminated on part surface further up |
NC-15633 |
Fixed stringers and triangular gussets on platform still generating even when the associated polyline was suppressed using parameter Minimum structure length. Now the stringers and gussets are properly suppressed, too. |
NC-15746 |
Fixed radial factor for bar supports. The parameter is no longer observed at only half of its value. |
NC-15788 |
Fixed an issue that prevented adaptive lattice support from being generated in fully closed cavities |
NC-15866 |
Addressed support not generating properly after moving a part with other parts present in the build room. There is now a prompt for recalculating environment after switching out and back into an active support editor if any part arrangement changed between switching. |
NC-15887 |
Using the manual command to reinforce polylines with additional parallel lines should no longer generate in places where they would end up connecting to nothing. |
NC-15892 |
When Filling type for volume support is set to Closed volume, the parameter Connection height is no longer missing. The workaround to temporarily switch Filling type to Structured is no longer necessary. However, the two appearances of this parameter for either type still point to the same parameter "under the hood" per instance of the volume support action. Modifying the connection height while one type is selected also changes the height that applies after switching to the other type. |

Texture and color
Key |
Note |
NC-15858 |
Fixed an issue that caused an error message, "invalid enum constant" during loading a particular multi-property 3MF file |
NC-15868 |
Fixed an issue where deriving face groups from surface colors failed to transfer them to face groups' display colors correctly or at all |

UI, UX, and workflows
Key |
Note |
NC-15300 |
Fixed an issue where the wall thickness analysis would not generate a result mesh even when the option to generate one is checked. Specifically, the result mesh is generated when the analysis is closed with either of the X buttons in the menu or the project tree. |
NC-15506 |
Fixed an issue that would break the mouse scroll zoom during adding triangles in repair and could even crash Netfabb to desktop |
NC-15637 |
Fixed an issue that cleared triangle selection upon using the viewcube in repair |
NC-15654 |
Fixed an issue that caused the resizing of certain buttons to fail when the window is moved between monitors with drastically different aspect ratios |
NC-15706 |
Fixed an issue that caused the "Startup warning" dialog, produced when there is an issue with licensing, to be broken |
NC-15736 |
Fixed an issue where panel names of custom menus would turn into placeholder text |
NC-15774 |
Fixed gizmo position not updating when moving part with keyboard shortcuts. Gizmo now updates on releasing the shortcut key. |
NC-15814 |
Fixed Lua scripts in custom menus not having an icon, only text |
NC-15871 |
Added missing switch to re-enable tessellation dialog on importing supported CAD files to Settings > Settings > Import and export > CAD import |
NC-15886 |
Fixed an issue where a new value typed into a text parameter in an EBPA configuration and immediately clicking Apply, without unfocusing the parameter's textbox, would not persist and revert to its previous value |
NC-15910 |
Updated Pentaho integration; Netfabb should no longer get stuck during generation of a report. |
NC-15922 |
Fixed an issue that caused a mysterious error message, "Some slice properties could not be loaded", upon loading a FABBPROJECT file with slices even when those slices had no properties assigned |
NC-15963 |
Attempting to overwrite a CSV file while the file is opened in another software should no longer cause an exception. |
NC-16027 |
Updated CAD file handling to fix an issue that prevented successful loading of a PRT file written with Siemens NX2306 |
NC-16130 |
Saving a project while an object in the project tree has a name with faulty character encoding should no longer produce an unreadable, irrecoverable FABBPROJECT file. |
