Machine support
|
NC-16300 – Added Schaeffler Special Machinery Omnifusion machine |
NC-16345 – Replaced existing EBPA for Kurtz Ersa Alpha 140 with newer version. This does not update existing customized configurations taken from an earlier version. To migrate, you must take a new custom configuration from the new built-in EBPA and transfer build strategies from existing ones via JSON export and import. |
NFL-97 – Added Stratasys H350 machine |
NFL-237 – In workspaces for Additive Industries machines, setting Laser index for a part to Automatic assignment writes laser index 0 to the build file for assignment through external tools |
NFL-281 – Renamed Progress SCA 10 machine to Progress SPI. This is just a cosmetic update. Note that this does not update existing My Machines records made from this machine template. |
NFL-302 – Renamed built-in configurations for One Click Metal to clarify they are examples, not practical, ready-to-use configs |
NFL-334 – Renamed One Click Metal machine model MPRINT+ to MPRINT. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect any user-defined My Machines templates. |
NFL-317 – Updated EOS P 396, P 760, P 770, and P 810 machine workspaces with no-build zones |
NFL-388 – Added new EOS P 810 machine workspace |
NFL-389 – Added new EOS P3 Next machine workspace |
NFL-435 – Updated spelling of built-in EBPA build configurations for One Click Metal MPRINT machines |
NFL-304 – Added machine workspace templates for Formlabs machines 4, 4B, 4L and 4BL |
NFL-319 – Added several new Farsoon machine workspaces |
NFL-351 – Added several Photocentric machine workspaces |
NFL-352 – Added two new support scripts for HP Metal Jet S100. Access them from the platform via main menu, Support > Generate supports, Run support script, while at least one part is selected. |
NFL-370 – Updated and aligned naming for default HP machine workspace templates. Existing My machine records do not get updated. |
NFL-409 – Removed Rapid Shape, Structo, and Way2Production machines from Netfabb Basic, now requiring Netfabb Standard and up to access |
NFL-449 – Increased the default Z height of the build room for HP Metal Jet S100 from 140 mm to 170 mm |
NFL-393 – Added HP machine workspaces Jet Fusion 5400 Series and Jet Fusion 5600 Series |
NFL-363 – Added workspace templates for several SCANLAB machines |
NFL-418 – Added Aconity3D machine AconityX |

Machine workspaces UI
|
NFL-174 – Importing an EBPA now skips the material selection if there is only one material anyway. |
NFL-233 – Improved how the configuration editor for powderbed-type machine workspaces handles EBPA-type configurations. Loading should now be effectively instantaneous even with dozens of build strategies in a configuration. |
NFL-253 – The button Automatic placement in EOS P, Formlabs Fuse, and Farsoon machines now calls the new 3D True Shape packing instead of 3D Scanline packing. In Mimaki machines, it now calls 2D Scanline packing instead of 3D Scanline packing. |
NFL-321 – In the configuration selection, the checkbox for Show only custom configurations is now persistent |
NFL-323 – In the context view of powderbed-type machine workspaces, added an Edit button to jump directly to the configuration, skipping the Configuration library dialog |

Reporting
|
NFL-326 – Removed reporting functions, document templates, and installation components using or related to Pentaho. Reporting using ODT templates remains available. |

Slicing
|
NC-16142 – Updated Slicing > Simple hatching to now use the same logic as its equivalent in PBF workspace toolpathing, specifically to include Alternate hatching with which to draw hatching in interleaving passes |
NFL-157 – Axis rulers and gradation figures are now "floating", always staying visible within the slice view even when the origin is outside the view frame. |

Supports
|
NC-16279 – Added new parameters to cluster detection to bias the detection angle away from the vertical |
NFL-176 – Made the existing keyboard shortcut Ctrl+I also available in the support editor where it is used to invert the current selection of supports |
NFL-220 – Added an option to generation of Bars on areas that rotates the entire grid so that the hatches can remain in line even at an angle, keeping beam repositioning times low |
NFL-245 – Added a limiting parameter to keep the curve at the top of a support bar, generated by Right angle at top, from exceeding printable angles |
NFL-288 – For volume support, made the Maximum height parameter available for the closed volume variant, too, not just the open, structured variant. This enables the generation of solid, form-fitting support platelets which can reduce sagging in powderbed sintering or similar applications. |
NFL-299 – Unified and expanded the filtering parameters for Delete supports and Modify supports |
NFL-316 – Added a new parameter Minimum cluster width to Volumes on areas action, preventing generation of supports along impractically narrow cluster sections that could then be filled by a more dedicated action |
NFL-331 – Added a new shape variant to the Base plate support action, Convex silhouette |
NFL-424 – Changed Base plate support action and generator to require a minimum thickness of 0.01 mm where previously 0 mm was permitted |
NFL-430 – Added a search function to the Support scripts tab in the context view of the support editor to search for support action parameters by name |
