    To cut a structural member to the boundary of another member

    1. On the ribbon, click Structure tab Cutting panel Cut Back Member.
    2. At the command prompt, enter b (Both).
    3. In the drawing area, click the first structural member whose boundaries you want to cut a second member to.
    4. Click the other member you want to cut.
