Work with the Line Balancing Simulation

Simulations and line balancing reporting data.

Run a simulation and view the line balancing chart

The line balancing simulation is off by default. To get started with your line balancing simulation and view the line balancing chart:

1. Select View Settings from the User Interface drop-down menu.

2. Select the View Line Balancing Chart checkbox in the Line Balancing Settings dialog to enable the line balancing graph at the bottom of the process model.

   

3. Run a simulation to view your process model's line balancing information in the Current Simulation window. Data only displays in this dialog after a simulation.

4. To view the line balancing reporting data, hover your mouse over the bars in the line balancing chart.

   

5. Click on a bar in the line balancing chart to highlight the object in the process model and expose its process properties dialog.

6. Double click on a bar in the line balancing chart to zoom in and get a closer look at the process object in your process model.
