Edit Operator Properties

Edit your Operator's travel time and associate your operator with a specific individual.

To access the Operator Properties:

  1. Select the Operator in your process model.
  2. Right click and select Show Properties from the context menu.
  3. Edit properties from the Operator Properties dialog.

Properties:

  • Name: Indicates the name or identifier for the operator. You can change this name to more easily associate this operator with a specific individual.
  • Operator Travel Time Table: Stores the anticipated time needed for the operator to move to the processors to which they are assigned. Time units can be in hours, minutes, seconds, or days.
  • From Processor table: In the table, the processors that the operator is connected to appear along the left side and the top of the table. To add a travel time, find the starting point on the left and read across the row to the right. When you find the processor to which the operator is going, enter the travel time in that cell. For example, if it takes the operator seven minutes to move from the Assembling station to the Quality Check station, enter seven in the cell where Assembling on the left intersects with Quality Check along the top. When you add a value, it automatically prefills the corresponding cell further down in the table (for example, where Quality Check on the left intersects with Assembling along the top.) To change a number, edit the value in the top rows to update the corresponding bottom rows.
