Edit Processor Properties

Edit your Processor's MTBF, MTTR, Variability, and Operation Sequencing.

To access the Processor Properties:

  1. Select a Processor in your process model.
  2. Right click and select Show Properties from the context menu.
  3. Edit properties from the Processor Settings.

Properties:

  • Name: Processor name.
  • MTBF: The mean time between failures for this processor and all its operations. For example, 4400 hr indicates that, on average, the processor runs 4400 hours before failing.
  • MTTR: The mean time needed to repair the processor after a failure. For example, 60 min indicates that, on average, it will take 60 minutes to repair this processor.
  • Variability %: Indicates the acceptable level above or below the mean time setting.
  • Unitization Alarms: Min % and Max % trigger utilization alarms if the processor is producing slower or faster than the set threshold values.
  • Operation Sequencing: Determines the order in which operations occur if there are multiple operations set up for the processor. Select Sequential to run the operations in a sequential order; otherwise, leave the checkbox blank to run operations in parallel.
