Work in Simulation Mode

Simulation mode lets you test alternatives and optimize your model to meet project requirements. Working with simulations saves time and money by ensuring that your design meets project objectives while reducing errors.

The simulation controls appear at the bottom of the workspace:

As a simulation runs, data appears for each object: sources show quantity emitted, processors show current production rate for the active operation, buffers show the capacity percentage, and end products show the number of processed products.

To view a detailed status report for an object during or after running a simulation, select and hover over the object.

Hover over a Source data bar to view Average Delay and Running Time Percentage.

Hover over a Processor data bar to view Active Operation, Running Time, Accumulated Downtime, Average Time in Process, and Utilization.

Hover over the data bar on a Buffer to view Maximum Time in Buffer, Average Time in Buffer, Rate of Fill, and Product Quantity.
