Use the Geometry tab to define basic connection elements:
- connection type (one- or two-sided)
If Two-sided is selected, the Symmetrical connection option is available. if selected, the connection of beams on 2 sides of the principal beam is symmetrical with respect to the principal beam.
- Element connecting the principal beam with the beam:
- Plate
- Angle
- Additional stiffening elements for the connection:
- Stiffeners
- Seat profiles.
- Shear plane for all bolts
- Unthreaded portion
- Threaded portion.
Note: The number of tabs in this dialog depends on the selected type of connecting elements, additional stiffening elements and connection type: welded or bolted.
