Use this dialog to define a trapezoidal load applied to one or several structure bars acting in the X, Y, or Z direction of the global or local coordinate system.

- Click
on the Bar tab in the Load Definition dialog.
- Click
- Types
- You can select the following load types:
Trapezoidal load (2p) - A load defined on two points.
Trapezoidal load (3p) - A load defined on three points.
Trapezoidal load (4p) - A load defined on four points.
- Direction of load action
- Specifies the direction in which the trapezoidal load acts: X, Y, or Z.
- Coord. system
- Specify whether the coordinate system should be global or local.
- Values
- Specifies how the uniform load acts in the selected axis.
- Coordinates
- Specifies the coordinates of characteristic points along the bar length as well as values of the trapezoidal load at these points. Coordinates can be given as relative or absolute values.
- Angles (Deg)
- Specifies the angle at which the load acts.
- Projected load
- Applies the load to the bar's length projected on the plane that is normal to the load's direction.
