Manually adjust the rebar crank orientation and rotation, when sketching or modifying rebar.
- Move the crank. Select the rebar.

- Press the
SPACEBAR
to rotate the rebar shape and crank orientation.

- Invert the crank orientation. Select the rebar.

- Click Modify | Structural Rebar tab

- Click
to invert the crank orientation.

- Click Modify | Structural Rebar

(Finish Edit Mode) to view the orientation of the crank.
- Rotate the cranks. Select the rebar.
- In the Properties palette, modify the Rotation at Start and/or Rotation at End parameters.

(Edit Sketch). In the Properties palette, modify the Rotation at Start and/or Rotation at End parameters.

(Edit Family). Click Modify tab

(Family Types). In the Rebar Shape Parameters dialog, modify the Rotation at Start and/or Rotation at End parameters. This changes the rotation for the cranks or hooks for all bars using this shape, once it is loaded into the project.
Tip: You can use Edit Bars to rotate just some of the bars in the set, for example the corner bars in a column.
