Text treatment during export
Use this setting to specify the degree of visual fidelity to maintain upon export.
From the drop-down list, select one of the following options:
- Preserve visual fidelity. Exported text looks exactly as it does in Exported text looks very similar to Revit. Paragraphs are broken up to mimic the source text rather than wrapped in the text note. The paragraph functionality of bulleted lists or numbered lists for example, is likely lost upon export. Pressing Enter within a formatted paragraph does not restore the formatting.
- Preserve editability. Text formatting, including paragraph breaks and text wrapping, is preserved. Positioning and line lengths may differ. If exported text includes bulleted lists or numbered lists, that paragraph functionality is maintained when the text is edited. Multilevel lists will likely need to be manually adjusted. Pressing Enter within a formatted paragraph restores the formatting.
Map Revit fonts to fonts in DWG
By default, each Revit font listed in the mapping table has a value of {Automatically map font} in the Text Fonts in DWG column. As a result, the Revit font is maintained in the exported file.
To map a Revit font to a specific DWG text font, click the value for that font in the Text Fonts in DWG column, and select the desired font from the drop-down list.
To change all the values in the table back to {Automatically map font}, click Reset All.
