To place hangers, select a service and a palette.
Use the MEP Fabrication Parts palette to select a service and a palette, and select a fabrication hanger to place in the drawing area. If no parts are listed in the palette, click Settings to open the Fabrication Settings dialog and load content into the MEP Fabrication Parts palette.
You can place hangers on straight horizontal fabrication segments or on straight portions of fitting extensions. You can also place hangers on a sloped host.
Hangers can also be placed in free space and not connected to a fabrication part. Adjust the rod length to attach a bearer hanger to the structure of another bearer hanger.
