Item Worksheet Builder Dialog

Use this dialog to create new fabrication item worksheets or to customize existing ones.

Worksheet: Select an existing worksheet from the drop-down list.

Create New Worksheet: Creates a new blank worksheet, or a copy of the current worksheet.

Rename: Specify a new filename or location for the current worksheet.

Header Layout: Drag selected data onto the Worksheet. Use this tool to create labels from worksheets if the information required on the labels is only available in the Worksheet Builder.

Properties: Open the Worksheet Properties dialog to set the following options:
  • Group Items By: Creates a single worksheet or label for each instance of a selected (print) object from the list of print objects that are displayed in the current worksheet layout. Select a print object from the Group Items By drop-down list. The resulting worksheet produces a single worksheet or label for each instance of the selected print object type. For example, select Item Spool Name to produce one worksheet for each spool. Or select Item Material+Gauge to produce one worksheet for each material. Similarly, if you select Item Source Name, one worksheet is produced for Item Source Name; typically, this is either the parametric pattern item or the catalogue item

    When this option is selected, the Output options below it are disabled.

  • One Worksheet per Item: Each item is included on its own individual worksheet.
  • Worksheet(s) for each Item Quantity: All items of the same type are included on a single worksheet.

Define Print Order: Displays the Pattern Item Print dialog. To add items to the right column from all of the possibilities in the left column, highlight the desired print object and click the arrow button WIN95/add.gif. To remove objects, highlight the desired print object and click the using the arrow button, WIN95/remove.gif. To re-order items in the report, highlight the desired print object and click the up or down arrows.

WIN95/revorder.gif Reverse Order: Changes the order of the items displayed in the Order pane.

WIN95/wsprev.gif Print Preview: Displays the selected worksheet based on the currently open job.

Delete: Deletes the worksheet layout.

Filter: Creates a filter for the report. Click in the entry field, and then select the required entry from the drop-down list, or enter a value using the keyboard.
