Change the Dimension Tick Mark

To meet office standards or improve readability in drawings, you can change the tick mark that displays at the ends of a dimension line.

In the drawing area, select a dimension.
On the Properties palette, click (Edit Type).
In the Type Properties dialog, under Graphics, select a value for Tick Mark, and click OK.

You can control the display behavior of arrow type tick marks.

You can also create a custom arrowhead type which will then be available as a choice for the Tick Mark property.
