Fixed Issues in Autodesk Structural Bridge Design 2022.1

Issues Resolved In 2022.1 Hotfix 1

Design Beams
Fixed the calculation of time-dependent loss factor for the effect of concrete strength, kf to AASHTO LRFD Article 5.4.2.3.2. The printout value was correctly shown when using metric units. The final stress calculations were not affected by this issue.
Fixed a printout error for AS5100.5:2017 Article 3.1.8.3[1] Design creep coefficient k5 calculation detail. The correct value was used in subsequent calculations following the k5 factor derivation.
Resolved an issue for post tensioned beam shear calculations to CS 455 Clause 8.20.2. The prestressing force component of inclined tendons now increases capacity.
Fixed an issue in the CS 455 shear calculations to exclude the compression steel in the slab when the section is uncracked in flexure.
Design Sections
Fixed an error in which "Invalid floating point operation" is displayed during Eurocode shear calculations for various design sections.
Fixed the calculation of shear parameters lambda1 and lambda2 for effectiveness of circular and helical links in circular reinforced concrete design sections.
Fixed an issue in which the allowable tensile concrete stress is overestimated under Service calculations in accordance with AASHTO LRFD Article 5.6.7. The modulus rupture value is now factored by 0.8.

Issues Resolved In 2022.1

Project / Structural Analysis
Resolved an issue for the virtual member reference axes definition following a construction stage change for a model containing a FE Web model group.
Fixed an issue in which the Link All Embedded command used identical filenames.
Fixed an error in which "An internal error has occurred in LocalGenerateCases" displayed during load optimization to UK assessment code CS 454.
Removed the unsupported import .DWG file option. Use .DXF import.
Fixed an issue in which Design Code reselection caused an error message to display.
Fixed a stability issue that could occur in projects with multiple embedded design beams when linking a beam as a JSON file.
Design Beams
Fixed an issue in post tensioned concrete beam definition which led to analysis slow down, or out of resources message.
Resolved the double counting following reduction of Apt and fpu to account for the number of bonded strands for AS 5100 pre-tensioned beam analysis.
Fixed the AS 5100 strand development length calculation considering the bond length (in addition to transmission length). Development length of pre-tensioned stand is implemented to AS 5100.5:2017 Clause 13.3.2.2.
Disabled Eurocode pre-tensioned beam analysis 'time considered' field when it is not applicable.
Reduced repetitive beam analysis messaging.
Fixed AS 5100.5 Clause 8.1.6 minimum strength check by identifying the sagging/hogging section based on the total moment and not just the live load.
Fixed an issue in reinforced concrete beam shear design to AASHTO LRFD 7 where the "area of non-prestress steel on tension side" was ignored.
Design Sections
Fixed an issue for longitudinal steel requirement due to shear and torsion for AS5100.5 Clause 8.2.8. Fc* includes compression due to flexure action.
Added a new CS 455 / BS 5400 effective depth parameter to the shear parameters form, for design section or RC beam, to define the shear depth as either:

  - the distance from the extreme compression fibre to the longitudinal tension reinforcement centroid;

or

  - the distance from the extreme compressive fiber to the longitudinal reinforcement outermost bar.
Resolved an issue in which the shear design parameter kv is calculated to AS 5100.5 Clause 13.3.2 assuming the section is without minimum reinforcement.
Fixed an issue in the bending analysis for SLS to AS 5100.5 where the reduction factor was incorrectly applied.
