Building a dashboard

Autodesk Tandem allows you to create and configure an overview of the descriptive twin, by setting up one or more dashboards. These dashboards can be used to track the completeness of the data in your twin, giving you visibility into the completeness of the asset data in your digital twin.

To create a dashboard, select the Dashboard icon from the facility information panel and select “Create Dashboard”.

Within the Create Dashboard dialog, give your dashboard a name. Selecting an existing view is optional. If a view is not selected, the master view for of the facility will be used.

This can also be done from the main facilities page once the facility is selected.

Adding, removing, or configuring dashboard cards

In Edit mode, controls are available for you to adjust the content of the dashboard. Including adding, removing, or changing the configuration of a card. For more details see Creating Dashboard Cards and Configuring Dashboard Cards

Filtering the content displayed in your dashboard cards

You can filter the dashboard (1) which will affect which elements are displayed and will also impact the results shown on the Cards (2) displayed in the dashboard:

Adjusting your dashboard’s layout

The dashboard consists of three areas: Left panel, Bottom panel, and Viewer. You can resize these regions by dragging the left or bottom border of the Viewer panel. To create a different dashboard layout, any one of these three areas can be hidden using the Layout dropdown.

Click Save to save your changes, and "Leave edit" to view the dashboard in View mode.
