Once laser data is defined for a model, you can add projectors. Complete the following steps to add a projector to your assembly.
- Click
Add Projector in the TruLaser ribbon.

- Locate the new projector in the tree.

- Double-click the projector to open the Properties window.

- Enter the settings and click Apply to save them. Refer to the table below for information about each setting.

| Component | Lists parts in your current assembly that have been correctly set up as projectors. |
| Location (X, Y, Z) | Point from which the projection originates |
| Direction (X, Y, Z) | Direction that the laser projector is pointing; X, Y, and Z coordinates are defined relative to the projector location |
| Up (X, Y, Z) | Determines the projection envelope; X, Y, and Z coordinates are defined relative to the projector location |
| Projector ID | Numerical identifier for the projector |
| Projector Type | Projector brand to ensure correct laser output |
| Projector FOV Width | Angle of view that the projector can reach from left to right |
| Projector FOV Height | Angle of view that the projector can reach from top to bottom |
| Minimum Focus Distance | Near limit the projector can reach and still be in focus |
| Maximum Focus Distance | Far limit the projector can reach and still be in focus |
Accessing the Projector Menu
If you need to change projector property settings, add a target, or make other projector-related changes, right-click on the projector to show a menu of options.
