Save a Revit File to Vault
Non-work shared files are added to a vault using the Save to Vault command. When a file is Saved to Vault, it is automatically checked into the vault.
Note: Save to Vault can only be used on Non-work shared files and Revit Family files.
Make sure that your folder mappings are in place before adding files to the vault with the Revit Vault Add-in. This folder mapping is used to determine where to add or update the file in Vault.
After Saving a file to Vault, if you continue to edit the file, the file is automatically checked back out.
Note: See Using Vault with Revit for instructions on saving a work shared project file.
