To Use Export and Import for Personal Settings

You can save personal settings on a computer used by several people by enabling the option to save settings to your “My Documents” folder. However, if you do not want to enable this option you can use Export and Import to give the same result.

1. Run Autodesk Vehicle Tracking and set your preferences.
2. Select Export Vehicle Tracking Data from the Vehicle Tracking Utilities menu. The Export Vehicle Tracking Data dialog displays.
3. Browse to your personal area (e.g. your personal documents and settings directory or personal area on the file server).
4. By default, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking creates an export file with the same name as the current drawing so we recommend that you change the filename to something more appropriate, maybe something like ATR_SETTINGS.
5. Click OK to save the file.
6. When you next run Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, select Import Vehicle Tracking data from the Vehicle Tracking Utilities menu.
7. When the Import Vehicle Tracking data dialog displays, select only the Import settings box before clicking OK to load the settings.
