Library Manager

The Library Manager, which you can access from all electronics documents, lists all libraries you have access to and shows you the components and packages in each library. You can search for libraries using text or filter criteria, and search the libraries for components you'd like to use in your design. The Library Manager is where you:

• Search for libraries, using text or filter criteria
• View the contents of a selected library
• Select libraries to include in your design.
• Locate modified libraries and update the local versions.
• Remove unused libraries from the view
• Edit linked libraries in use
• Disable a library.

When you open the Library Manager, updates from libraries used in the design are automatically loaded into any open schematics and boards. You can also update the design from a specific library, or from all libraries used in the design.
