Weld Vertices reference

In the Form contextual environment, the Weld Vertices and Unweld Vertices tools let you join two vertices into a single vertex, or separate them to disconnect an edge or loop.

Design > Form > Modify > Weld Vertices

Select the vertices to join.

Weld Mode

• Vertex to Vertex: the first vertex is moved to the position of the second vertex.
• Vertex to Midpoint: The two vertices are moved to the midpoint between the selections.
• Vertex to Tolerance: Window selection welds all vertices (even those not visible) together within the specified tolerance.

Weld Tolerance

Specify the tolerance for the weld operation.

Maintain Crease Edges

Keeps any creases along modified edges.
