Add a thermal load

Different thermal load types are available depending on the study type you select.

These instructions assume you have created one of the following study types:
Thermal stress
Thermal
Electronics Cooling

1. In the Setup tab, click (Loads > Thermal Loads).
2. In the Thermal Loads dialog, select the load type to apply from the Type drop-down list.
3. Based on the selected load type, select the desired entities (faces, edges, vertices, or bodies) to place the load.
4. Optionally, click Change Units to select alternative input units.
5. Specify the desired load magnitude.
6. Click OK.
