Exercise 5: Create a Scenario

Share the relevant part of your proposal via the cloud.

Publishing is a two-part process: You create a scenario and then you specify how to share it. In this exercise, you create the scenario. A scenario packages the designated region of the model, along with points of interest and watermarks.

To create a scenario

  1. If you are not logged in already, do so before publishing.
  2. Create the new scenario.
    • Click .
    • In the Scenario Browser, click Add A New Scenario ().
  3. In the Scenario Editor asset card, specify the settings for the new scenario.
    • Enter a name and description for the scenario, and choose which proposal to publish.
    • To specify the initial view for the scenario, expand Area of Interest then navigate to the desired view in your model and click Set Home.
    • Choose Entire Model, BBox, or Polygon tool to define the area of interest for your Scenario, and click to place start and end points for the area of interest. Double-click to finish.
    • Optionally, click Lock Mouse Navigation Above Ground under Navigation tab so that the viewer always remains above the ground in the scenario.
    • If the model contains watermarks, indicate whether viewers can turn them on and off.
  4. Click OK.
