After performing an energy analysis from Revit, you can open the results in Autodesk Green Building Studio to better understand the results or to refine the analysis using more advanced tools.
Access to Green Building Studio is free to Autodesk Subscription customers.
Before performing this procedure, do the following:
- Generate an energy analysis of a conceptual design or building elements.
You can use Green Building Studio to view details of the current analysis, or to perform more detailed analyses than is possible using Revit. For example, for the Potential Energy Savings chart, you can view the results of each of the 37 individual analyses that were performed to generate the chart. Or you can use tools in Green Building Studio to further refine and improve the analysis of the project.

Results & Compare. - In the Results and Compare dialog, select the desired energy analysis.
- Click OpenGreen Building Studio. If you are not currently signed into Autodesk 360, sign in as prompted. Green Building Studio opens and displays information about the current energy analysis.
- In Green Building Studio, view project run charts, project details, and more.
You can see all the information and assumptions that were used to perform the analysis, as well as more detail about the results.
