Manage Sites for Project Sync

Add, remove, and configure sites on the Manage Sites dialog in Project Sync.

  1. In Vault Client, select Tools > Project Sync Settings to open the Project Sync Settings dialog.
  2. Click Configure on the Project Sync Settings dialog to open the Manage Sites dialog.

    A list of sites is displays. The list of sites may contain mapped and unmapped sites.

    From here you can add, remove, and configure your sites.

    • Click Add Site to add a new site.

      Add the URL for the Autodesk Buzzsaw Site to which you are syncing. If using an Asia-Pacific Buzzsaw site, simply add the 'ap-' in the URL.

      Note: You can only create unique sites. The same site cannot be added twice.

      The user name entered in this field is the Buzzsaw user name and password, not the Vault user name and password. Each vault will use just one Buzzsaw username, so choose the Buzzsaw user and security carefully.

      Click Define to configure your synchronization settings.

      The site, user name, and password are all validated when you browse to the Buzzsaw folder for mapping.

    • Click the Edit button on the right side of the site's row to make changes to the site.
    • Click the delete button at the right side of a sight's row to delete that site.

      Deleting a site deletes all mappings for that site.

  3. Click Close when you are finished to save your sites.
